I am fascinated to how easy you make these things look. You must have study this engine in depth before you stated. These doesn’t bear any similarities to BMWs..

I studied the whole Haynes manual when my cases were takingages to be done that’s no joke either as there was no information on these engines anywhere online or on KZbin so I had too that’s why I’m doing this series for 997 purely for that reason as I know it will do well later on 😂 that’s how I know every bolt where it goes and every torque spec off my head now I’m very good like that remembering bolts and where things go. But shows how passionate I was for these cars to do that it wasn’t easy but I did it over the course of 2 months studying it page by page and to think there is 6500 pages but I only needed the 300 for engine removal strip down and rebuild 😅

Would it not been easier to use one of those special engine hoist where you turn it around as you need?

For this part no I have a engine stand stay calm bro that’s coming up 😂 bolting it all back I do it on the engine stand but really I have the hydraulic table just as good I can make it higher then me if I needed too 😅 that table has become my best friend I take it around with me everywhere with my tools on when I ain’t got a engine on it now as I use it to sit on and keep my tools on when I’m working under the lift very handy indeed

I thought you would have one didn’t realise the table was hydraulic none of those wonderful equipment was about in my days , the block and Tackle was all Ihad and a black and decker work bench.

What are your views on the 911? They are fitted with a Volkswagen engine ??

They ain’t fitted them to 911 have they? I thought it was only the macan that had the vw engines

@@BMWDoctor Not sure mate it was a long time ago we doing a timing belt on one 30 years? I can remember it the 911 seem to have bits of every manufacturer. Haven’t said that i liked it a poor man’s Porsche in those days it all i could afford then along with came the Boxster . Nice to reminisce. 😂

I didn’t break anything the corrosion did I removed many of these including my own and not broke any of them this one was badly corroded from sitting for 2 years and not moving.
