I've never commented on other uploads but for some reason I feel compelled to on this occasion. Shooting, editing and producing content and putting your all into it doesn't necessarily mean that you've nailed it. I get it, you're putting your heart on your sleeve and you've tried so hard. And I know how much time and effort you've spent putting this together. I'm no Spielberg but I've done OK on youtube. The criticism I've seen that you haven't deleted is fair. The editing, shot selection, story telling, and sound just doesn't work, or the components work against each other. Yes and we know you've bought a drone. Narrative: Ask yourself do you normally communicate like that? If the answer is, no, don't do it here. Tell the story like you would if you sat down with your mates. That doesn't mean you have to abandon your intellect, just harness it. At the moment it just seems like your shitting out words from a thesaurus. If I were you I would sit down and story board what you would like to say. Get a sheet of paper put a line down the middle write the story on the left and pic the vision and audio on the right. Once you've done that go back and re do this complete story as the shots individually will tell this story pretty well. I would love to see a complete re-edit with new narrative. I don't mind if you delete this comment, but if you don't listen and respond you're gong to be hard pressed to attract subscribers and sadly you stories will never be heard. So pump up :)

Well, I just bought a secondhand 2017 1200GS Rallye (from a dealer so no history) and it had the route plan for this ride on the Navigator. It has unifilter and I was getting pretty convinced it had done this safari. So I thought I'd watch it. Given how few plates were visible, I was feeling that it would be a needle in a haystack. But would you adam and eve it, there it is. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing when you buy a bike? You know, 1 careful owner, only been offroad once 🙂

Lots of drone footage of the High Country, which is magnificent, but nothing from the riders POV. Very sterile and boring with the echoing commentary trying to squeeze every adjective into a forced narrative. I wanted to see action, bikes, noise, etc. This needs to be redone.

Nice video, but I would have hoped to see more about the actual riders and their experiences. This video seems to have a marketing feel and while the poetic script is very well written I think it may be disconnected from the amazing journey the riders would have experienced. Just a thought from a previous and future Safari rider.

Definitely too much dull narration and not enough reality. This is a motorcycle event, not a scenic tour from the air. Give us more bike sounds and point of view from the bikes. Adam Reimann is the master of this sort of video coverage. Bring him back.

In 2015 I purchased a BMW GSA based on watching the terrific 2014 and 13 videos of the Safari and Safari Enduro, after a 20 year gap from riding. I did the 2015 Safari. No doubt these endorsed video presentations sell a dream and sell motorcycles (I must be a good marketing target). If I was a BMW Marketing Exec in Australia I'd be worried as whilst looking to buy a new 1250 model I'm starting to cast the eye around at other brands as I have gone back to checking the latest official videos and my dream of punting a new jigger around has been met with uninspiring, unmotivating to buy videos. What did that football coach say - 'Do something'.

As a Canadian who has watched as many as I could of the GS Safari's I'm slightly disappointed with this new take on this years version. I understand what you're trying to do, but this video didn't make me want to come across the world to ride your event, for the first time in 4 years...I was looking forward to this video (riding season just started in Canada!). My advice, please don't follow the same direction with the second Safari, or if you do, work on the shots and the story telling. I agree with the others suggestions regarding the shots and narrating. I won't remove this from my bucket list, never, but I need the inspiration to make it happen!

bring back adam riedman and motology!. great footage but narration in a studio, a bad studio at that sounds terrible and a story line making it sound like someone discovered the earth wasn't flat. could have been so much better with so little effort
