It's sweet. Not sure I like the two screens attached to the dash. It's a lot to look at when you are driving and need a quick review of things. Audi does a better interior I think but overall the M2 is a hot car.

Nice but I liked the Toronto Red better than the Vegas Red. I would not even bother getting one though if it is an automatic. To me performance sports car + automatic is an oxymoron and do not belong in the same sentence. Once the manuals go away then its SUV or similar for me after that.

1850kg curb weight, that is the same weight as a E39 M5 from 2002 with a V8 and four doors, so no thanks..the last real M car with the original M concept is the f80 and f82..lightweight chassis, tremendous engine and handling.

It's much less... 1725kg manual - 1775kg automatic. Don't add weight. 480hp and it flies.

This redesigned M2 isn’t getting any better looking with age, every part of the body design makes no sense. It doesn’t flow. It’s a mix of curved surfaces, & sharp edges. I cannot make sense of it. It hurts my eyes to look at it. In that way it reminds me of Nissan Joke I mean Juke.

I am sorry, i don't feel impressed. This vertical front, corner edges design is not estetical at all. People like it because it is BMW. But we, the true BMW lovers, we don't like it

Sorry for my brutally negative review if my opinions hurts your feelings but you asked for them so here is my initial impression: It really has a fat rear end and does not look sexy at all and its compounded by the use of wheels size that don't give a flush fitment but leave a huge overhang. I don't like the headlights (the signature drl scream 'we are running out of options now'... let's go with the 'down and up'), tail lights or style of the wheels. The front lower and grill are too linear and boxy, the hood has a straight line seam across the front that does not look good (made clear by the different reflections of the light that magnify the unaligned surfaces). The gimmicky lighted door panels look childish and what is up with the pink ambient lighting? Gay. The dual flatscreen dash look cheap (because they are cheap) and now look much like a new mustang that has adopted flat screens in favor of cost reduction and elimination of style and character. The steering wheel is nice but that furry material will not look so great after a few years of wear and sweat. Although there are what look like seats in the back, you might only be able to put your small purse dog back there because there is no room for anyone who wears shoes. What is the point? Given all of the 'negative' points and its ridiculous asking price of 94K... I am sure it will sell very well to the young and financially well off hipsters. I somehow thought the 2 series were entry level 'affordable' and the M was the most sporty of them all, but this is way out of line and close to insanity. On the positive side, I am sure the power plant is very good and there are two options for transmissions (auto and manual) and surely the car will ride and handle very very good. If I was choosing between this and say a Corvette 3LT, I would buy a Corvette for sure and save some $$ in the process. By the way, the background track goes better with an underwater documentary than with a new sports car from BMW.
