Somewhere between a Bullshittin' and an interview, we have this. I met up with Tony Neyer, Reed Stark, and Devon Smillie while they were were in town getting some last minute clips for the upcoming videos. After just chilling for a while, I decided to throw a mic on Devon and let him do his thing. The goal wasn't to interview Devon or get him to talk shit on anything, but simply get a real, honest glimpse at what goes through Devon's head as he's about to clock in for a clip. Shout out to Reed to taking over at the end there, too!

I pray the owner, or anyone even vaguely associated with that property never sees this video... or else BMX is gonna take it harder than Kim Kardashian in the video that made her famous. I don't wanna be "that guy" but the rail cutting does put bmx in a bad light, to other bikers(myself included) that is metal as fuck, but to the public? to the news(especially with how everyone is a sensitive little fairly nowadays)? To the parents of a kid interested in BMX? All they're gonna see is just a bunch of guys just straight up vandalizing. I'm not tryna tell y'all your business, I'm just tryna get you to see other points of view. Look at what happened to Perry, and he didn't even damage anything. The way shit can get out of hand these days this has potential to bury Neyer, Smilie, everyone else who touched that rail, RIDE, and even send BMX back to the 90s. Maybe I'm over reacting, maybe it's maybelline, idek what I'm writing anymore. Just make sure you guys know exactly what your showing the world, keep shredding dudes!

This is really sick, the mic'd up videos are by far my favorite series and taking it to a heavy street session was a cool idea. I know it would be a big wait but it would be cool to see one of these after the part comes out so you could just film the actual clip. Not like it's a secret he did bar crook now, I'll still watch his edit but the surprise has always been my favorite part of watching edits. Maybe even work on a one of these where you have a bunch of behind the scenes footage and stuff and drop it the same day as the part comes out. Just some random thoughts, Keep killing it!

They're filming for the etnies video and it won't be out for several months, but yeah there's definitely a fine line with this stuff. I don't think knowing that Devon does a bar crook on a rail will make your first watching of the etnies video any less awesome.

most of us ask if we can ride a spot and 99% of the time the owners are cool with it they just tell us if we get hurt to not let anyone know they said it was ok for us to ride there. cutting hand rails at a school is BS because we have to pay for those with our tax money instead of using that money for school supplies. these guys are pros and they can afford to go to woodward east and west, they could of had jeff king from built to shred build them a rail that would sit above that one they cut. you say its no big deal but when your kid gets cut on the edges of that rail then you will not be saying that.

label me overly-sensitive if you wish, but this is a school, a grade school judging by the hopscotch on the ground... what happens if some of the kids have disabilities, and holding on to a rail for balance walking up or down the stairs assists them in doing such? I'm really not trying to hate... but if you can't ride a rail because of the kink at the bottom, find a different rail... if the school has to allocate funds it doesn't have to fix this, funds that don't go to school supplies or improvements... one alteration of something meaningless to y'all might have a bigger impact than you think... food for thought
