The slammer is literally how I met odb, nw legend and mentor to my young self. Sure he was just trying to buy it but we connected and he introduced me to all the cru, shad ND family. Thank you slammer!

You aren't a real bike nerd if you didn't appreciate when they got it threw the fork 😂

Shad, this video was great, many of us have struggled getting brake cable through the forks, it’s brutal. I’ve been following the journey of the Slammer since day one, nice to see it get first pedals. Chrome looked sick in the night light btw. 🔥🔥🔥

I got a 95. The slammer is one of the most underrated bikes and it’s easy to ride for bigger guys. I’m 6’2 and it’s the most comfortable 20” I’ve ever ridden.

Very nice Dyno! Way to not give up. If you ever have to do it again or on another Dyno save yourself some headache and run the cable up backwards through the fork out the stem and tape them together and pull it back through. Olschool electricians trick.👍

I explain in the video why that trick isn’t working on this fork, the breath hole is so small that the housing hits an edge. So it left us no choice but to do it this way.🙂

Holes in the frame or fork for cable routing.. a stupid idea imo It was always an epic pain in the arse
