Whyyyy in gods name did they make the map so BIG??? There are so many promising elements in this here and there but they're so far between.... Is this because of Multiplayer?? I dont know i just feel like if the physics and controls were fixed and they'd have made it like session where it's smaller secluded maps with lots of detail it would be so amazing :(

I mean the skate maps were pretty large too, I personally love big maps , one big map instead of having to load into different maps is way better in my opinion , especially if you can fast travel to different locations

@@Saiiiyan facts. but that's what happens when you try to put all those different sports in one game. the controls have to be super general and it ends up being less immersive. edit: wait, now i'm thinking it didn't have to be this way. they could've had more complex control schemes depending on which sport you pick, but that would lead to casual players having to memorize too many controls and sadly they chose to cater towards that.

I think the community has broken the developer with their demands on him. They all gaslit him into thinking THEY"D pay full price for his game and he's seeing the 8 years of his life and thinking he really wants to make more than only $45K selling this game. I perspective, selling 3000 units at $15 this game would only get him 45k. That sucks. So the idea is to find out what he can get back so his life isn't wasted. Try making something like this and watch how the demands of the community plus the development process will make you absolutely mental.

@@michaelbuddy it would be less since steam takes a 30% cut. but pricing the game at 53 euros when its unfinished and janky is only gonna result in negative reviews. it still feels like a game in early access, i got over 500 hrs in pipe and tbh pipe in a lot of ways feels better. if he charged around 25 to 30 he would not only make more sales but also get people interested who never played pipe before.

Look forward to playing it. But fuck me the tuck physics look so bad. Pipe tucks were absolutely dialed. And who the hell wants to do grizz airs in game. Only person i could see doing them would be ryan guttler only cause he did so many in edits it wasnt funny back in the day😂

Compared to pipe this has wayyyyy more features. We have in game multiplayer, in game bike customization, replay editor, challenges, new flip physics, unlimited grind physics, set time of day, better graphics and the list goes on. Also keep in mind the release of this game up pushed so hard from the public that it came out earlier than mash probably would have liked. The game isn’t finished but over the next year most of the bugs will likely be sorted

Looks great but it's a shame the sound design is a bit of a miss, where's the roaring hub sounds? I think this game will be awesome in 1-2 years time and on sale for £20 or less

He is running a freecoaster. If you run cassette you can hear the roaring hub sounds.

@@JoeyD82288I think there was a lot of hype and the game didn’t really deliver on the hype, also the physics are a bit odd to me at least, the price was way to high but they changed it so good on them, I think the thing is the game looks really good on videos but something about it just feels weird to play, that being said I am getting more used to it. Just my experience and perspective so far

Let me clear up some things about this game. This is a completely PHYSICS based game similar to a sim which isn’t designed to have storytelling or adventure based activities. This entire release was also pushed very hard from the people which made this game come out before mash likely wanted it to. Over the next couple years it WILL improve. With the people saying this game looks and feels janky compared to pipe, I understand the movement is a little sensitive and the spin physics could use some work but also realize this game literally just came out and people haven’t had time to figure everything out and make the game look smooth. Try and remember what everyone’s first day playing pipe looked like

This guy is copy and pasting this comment on all videos of this game. He either is paid by the devs or is a dev. Dont trust him. You cant excuse £46 for a falsely labelled 1.0 release game that everyone can tell is in an alpha stage at best and doesnt even stand up to its £7 predecessor, "BMX Pipe". This is a major fuck up. Greed has cost the devs in the long run. This game is tainted now. BMX the game is £20 and in early access. Support that project instead.

Let me tell you EXACTLY what people say on social media all the time. "If there was a open world bmx stunts game, I'd pay full price for it" This is very common to see people say, people have been saying that to the dev for years. The problem is, you can't believe those people because the rubber meets the road when they actually spend the the money. I get people's opposition to the price, but don't cry about it. Fact is this game is NOT going to bring in huge numbers no matter WHAT people claim. So if a dev spending a good chunk of his own life making the game, of course he's looking at units and unit price hoping to get some of his life back. If people just understand the dynamic here it's quite simple. The dev has been dealing with people about this game for YEARS. Constant demands on him in discord channels, emails, tweets etc. So you get to a point where you just break and say "yeah I want to make some damn money on this thing!" People who don't understand this have never made anything. But honestly, stop crying about the price. This is a low unit game you don't need to buy, wait for a sale. You've waited what 8 years for it. Wait for summer sale or another 6 months bargain bin. Or wait for it to get less buggy or more maps. STOP CRYING ABOUT PRICES. you can't compare this game to AAA games that sell 3 million units. Those games make over a hundred million dollar. This game is gonna sell like 2-5 thousand units at most I bet. You think working on a game for 6-8 years and only making $45K is motivating at all to keep building on the game. Hell NO! If you want more development pay more. Or don't buy it and go play that other BMX game that looks like fortnite.

To be fair, these are two totally different games. Pipe feels a lot more like the park version of the two games but comparing the street riding capabilities, BMX Streets is 1000 times better
