c5 quadriplegic using batec

Well done mate. I’m a para and I got my Batec about two months ago. And I didn’t realise the handlebars could be modified so quads could use them. The up-and-down motion of the handlebars is unique.

Thank you so much for the demonstration! I am thinking about getting one of these. I got the SmartDrive years ago, but never actually used it because it was so hard to control speed. This looks so much easier to put it on independently and to use I have to look for one. Thanks again. 😊

thanks for the video, it finally gave me confidence to try it myself. Not a Batec but something similar, I should get it in a few weeks. I have a question - the chest strap :) is it custom made or can I buy it somewhere online? All I could find was very quadriplegic unfriendly. Thanks

It surprised me in the fact that disability has such a high price tag in regards to power wheels, it’s a shame that companies can’t see that sometimes profits should be set a a level that’s in favour of the end user.
