You need optical clear laminate to be able to clearly see thru the perforated fild from the inside better.

I’m curious how do you deal with the copy rights? Or because it’s modified doesn’t apply any longer?

You didn't do anything wrong with the process - but you need to apply this to a window that is dark. Like a car or truck window, if you applied this to the outside of your shop window it woulda been fine
