Why after update is Display Path not working in the Script AI manager window??? I even deleted the game and reinstalled it to fix the problem, but the trajectory of the movement of transports after recording is not visible even with or without a check mark on the Display Path.

Edit: I just found the advanced video, and thanks, because that helped. But I do have one issue: The police sirens and lights. It doesn't record when I turn them on mid-recording, which causes me to have to quickly switch cars and turn the sirens and lights on quickly, which can lead to some mishaps. Any way to fix this?

The script AI needs a lot of work. Really about the only thing it seems to be able to handle is highway cruising. It can't even maintain a slow speed such as 20 down a residential street without being super choppy with the accel. And if you record a high speed pursuit path for the AI to do they just flat out crash, sometimes while going in a straight line. I hope they put more work into developing this feature

Kind of, yes. For that, you'll want to press Esc > Apps > AI which will open the AI window where you can set it to chase you, flee you, etc. It's more random and unscripted than using the method seen in this video. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

I wish timing consistency wasn't an issue. In a police chase I'd record the police car right behind the fleeing suspect but when I play the script it's way behind compared to how I recorded it, how do I solve this issue?

I turn them on myself, after you press 'play' for the AI vehicles, I switch to each of them and enable the lights. Hope that makes sense :)

Hello, is it possible to make some truck and trailer performance as one unit so that it can be recorded like this? Because I attach the trailer to the truck and turn on the recording when I want to play it back until the truck itself is driving without the trailer🤔

Yes! Good question... there's two things you can do. First, I would recommend downloading this mod if you're working with semi trucks: www.beamng.com/resources/gavril-t-series-with-trailer.9325/ It will give you a "single" semi truck vehicle like you described that will allow you to record a script path for the entire "vehicle"/unit. If you're looking at working with regular trailers like behind a car, make sure the trailer is lined up with the car's hitch when the vehicle is at it's starting point of the script path. Then, with the game paused, press 'play' in Script AI manager and then the 'L' key to activate the coupler. When you un-pause, it should simultaneously link up the trailer to the car and start the vehicle's script AI path. If this doesn't work the first time, use the World Editor to re-position the trailer as needed. Hope that all makes sense & thanks for watching!

Hey there - as far as I know there isn't any behavior to do this. Maybe in the traffic app perhaps? I'm not sure as I don't use that app much. However, using the concepts from this video, you can simulate a vehicle pulling over if you time everything right ;)

nice game,i always wanted traffic instead of by myself,but i have a few issues with my game,1st,o use both an xbox wired controller,so thats ok accept for steering issues,then i have the G29,with pedals/clutch shifter+18-speed,my issues with that,is programming it it steers ok and drives when i can get it to work,but at times setting it up,i have issues like the gas being the brake the brake the gas,sometimes setting the steering itself so it doesnt only turn 1 way and not go both ways,and i cant get the clutch to work,the games see it there but i cant set it so it will be driveable cuz car barely moves or wont shift into or out of gear so i have to set it with out the clutch and float it wit the clutch programmed more like setting it to shift it like automatic by being able to use shifter with no clutch,another issue is when i watch video and players spawn cars or start playing the car/cars move right away like they should,my issue is when i try that car doesnt move or go into gear,so i have to go to setting for that car and then i see parts are missing like drive shafts etc so then i have to readd the parts then it drives,another issue is sometimes i go into gear to start driving and the RPMS just rev high and car moves but wont upshift so i have to shut engine off to stop it so how can i fix this,then if i want the traffic to work like your doing do i spawn cars 1st or get the apps 1st cuz i tried and it doesnt work or the cars dont do how i wanna set it up or i cant drive them cuz after i pick options the car race off and i cant do anything or sometimes when the apps are on where i can see them options either wont let me choose them or if they do i dont see the options i want,so how do i do/fix this otherwise fun game

That's weird... I assume the key is set for the horn and siren (by default H and M keys... you have to press M a second time to play the siren). Otherwise, I'm not sure, maybe check sound settings?

Nothing shows up at all? If it doesn't, your user interface might be hidden (press Alt+U to get it back) or if you're on a laptop, try Fn+F11. Or if you can see the World Editor, but don't have tools, you might be on an older version of the game. In which case, make sure you have the latest update. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
