Wow Aari this video is amazing. As someone who is playing an assassin this video is such an eye opener to me showing what they can do. I hit lvl 30 on Sin last CBT(my first one btw) just learning mechanics and things of that nature. The problem is that for me at lvl 30 I never used stealth or knew what core kills to optimize while progressing through the game. If you have time could you post a build or make a vid on what skills you will need throughout certain stages/levels and like the final build you have at lvl 45. I want to take all my points out and know where to place them.

+Boss C I just spam rmb + F as fast as I can and 4 whenever it's up. I don't really have a fixed roation outsite of that. Just try to always maintain at least 1 stack of poison as it increases the damage of your 4. (5 stacks is of course better but you can't maintain it)

You can also do the 2 Lords without killing the Soulstone Cores, at first it's a bit harder but when you get used to you can do the lords even faster.

Hey Aari, thanks for the guide. This was the most informative video I've seen on the assassin yet. I have a minor question. I don't play any other versions of BnS, so last week during the Closed beta was my first time with the game. I realized this game seems to be heavily reliant on ping. At best, I'll probably have somewhere between 60-85 ping, and on average somewhere around 120-150 ping. I noticed from your video and others that animation canceling RB - F in stealth seems slower on my end than it should. My question is if you use any macros for your sin to be consistent with your animation cancels, and if using macros can make my animation cancels faster and more consistent with higher ping? +Loki AMV Hey Loki, ping certainly makes a big difference. I personally do not use any macros. They would potentially make things a bit more consistent. Maybe even a bit faster but I'm not a fan of it. I'll potentially try it out next CBT and give you some feedback then. 60-85 is a really decent ping tho and you shouldn't have too much trouble with it. You would notice a distinct difference between that and 120-150.

I want to mention that you didn't kill the add in stealth, it never died. The boss reset before you killed it. You have to maintain dps on the boss, so if you can't drop a core fast enough while in stealth the boss will reset, but you *can* kill it in stealth. If you want to kill a core, destroy the one in the middle so you can be next to the respawn (and make sure you drop it fast). Then jump out of stealth so the boss can "see" you and start their initial attack on you and start dps on them as fast as you possibly can. Personally I just ignore the cores and let them eat through my dragon blood, just make sure to SS the middle one when it's "exploding" or you run the risk of a wombo from the boss.

I have no problem killing the mini bosses, but the two lords I just cant. They always reset, EVEN though I am visible. Why is that? I am playing on the European servers. It is really annoying. I'm probably just bad at learning the rotation but I'm having a lot of trouble even on the first boss. I can't seem to figure out when to weave in LMB to reduce to cd of Shadow Drain, restealth with Swiftstep, and when to SS away to use Shadow Dash for stealth. Managing all of that along with being sure to keep a poison on him and not mess up timing with Hook Kick's cd ontop of others is a little difficult when learning how to do this. I feel like I'm missing something ontop of the fact that I just need to practice staying perma stealth on an open world boss or something. Can you give a little breakdown of the rotation you normally use? Hopefully that can help me out a little.

+Shazb0t009 When you're in stealth you should use youre 3 first to restealth easily and then do the spinal stab quickly to not back dash after that throw a X poison on the boss to use your 1 to reset stealth again and while you restealth throw the poison bomb (z) to keep the poison stack up and when you are out of stealth use your tab to go back in it. It all depends on your playstyle.

+Jon Layton I stopped doing the cores. Bosses tend to reset to often. Just use Smoke bomb to evade their ranged attacks and I-Frames for the big AOE.

+Ta Cat that is clearly the weapon with profane awakening or true profane, it turns on a passive that regenerates 30% focus every second for 10 seconds, it can appear again while you are hitting anything. with this you almost never out of focus ^^

These are the gems I use atm. The first three are kinda standard for all classes. The Peridot is nice for Sin because we do have a lot of passive dodge in Stealth.

gj , as op as it may be if your timing is ass and you panic like me, its not that easy everything goes fine untill i get to like last 20-30% of hp at which point i start fkin up, i do the rmb>f>4 hp burning fine but when it comes down to mainting stealth correctly i get to >i just figure out that i can run+rmb stealth, 45 lvls in, gj me. so i start with that > bomb for poison while dmging > 1 for poison stealth, ok, so far am still here stealths runing out i use 3>rmb to stay on the target , still in there and then everything turns to shit when that runs out i enter panic mode and am dead XD

+Ivan Stehlik You need to have Lighting Rod on at least Tier 2 Form 3, so it wont reset to basic stance after using. Better is T3 F3 for focus cost decrease, which leads to better DPS in perma stealth.
