This camera is located near Milepost 168 on the BNSF Gateway Sub in northern California. Trains going right to left are headed "North" towards Klamath Falls, OR. Trains going left to right are going "South" and towards Keddie, CA.
This is the former Western Pacific Western Division 4th Sub or Highline that connected Keddie, CA to Bieber, CA where the Great Northern connection to Klamath Falls was made. The line in view is between Clear Creek Jct and Westwood, CA. It was origianlly part of the Red River Lumber Comapny electric logging line from Westwood to Chester, CA.
