BNSF HO Scale Layout Update September 2022

Made some progress on our BNSF inspired HO scale layout. Most of the ground cover and ballast is complete. Hope to get to weathering the locomotives and rolling stock soon.

Easy now as Torby Keith would say. Let your wiring stand for a while before ballasting on the main lines. It's easier to clean up the mess if you have to do any repairs. I ballasted the areas around the outside of the track and held off the inside. Like the layout, signals and video. I also just subscribed to your channel. Been working on my layout for almost `0 months now. It's alot of fun.

Thanks for the insight on the ballasting Dale! The signaling system is definitely the center point for me. It's been challenging but very rewarding to see the CTC system come to life and operate. I will be doing to more in-depth videos about the layout soon. Again, I really appreciate the comment and look for more videos soon!

Hello, very cool layout and looks great. Love the signals. Wish I was that good to do signals but that part of the hobby is to complicated for me. Curious how big is the layout , do I have a layout overview or diagram of it. Keep up the great work

Hi There! The layout is in a roughly 15ft x 10ft space. The signals are a lot of fun although a little difficult to set up initially.
