Did you get permission to film the train yard ?
@bimmerben762 жыл бұрын
When on public property you do not need to gain permission to film.

Seems like a lot of inactivity for a key BNSF yard.
@ih14405 жыл бұрын
MikeInPlano There is so much activity that is not seen in the grand scheme of things. Keep in mind that a lot of what happens at a terminal like this involves inspections, servicing, repairs, testing, etc - a necessary evil in keeping the big picture moving. For example, each of the three locomotives south of the Diesel shop are being qualified after making their way through the shop for repairs. Lots of the cars that are sitting still are being worked by Carmen, lots of them are waiting to be humped or pulled. It doesn’t seem like much until you realize that this yard often humps and pulls over 2000 cars per day, not to mention the through trains that are handled. The people busy keeping the place working are simply too small and spread out to be noticed if you aren’t looking for them.
