For any of my viewers who work for a railroad or work for BNSF itself, I would love if you commented more about this. All of you have a far better perspective on this than I have.

I don't work for bnsf but I do work for a class 1 and a strike is necessary to gain attention and achieve some balance. Psr has made railroad executives arrogant and it is long past time for management to eat some humble pie!

As a locomotive engineer ... Running a train is a very stressful event. Rewarding but stressful. You need time to decompress... There's so much happening in that cab and these trains are massive. There's so much going on. This is going to break people...and it's only going to result in a wildcard strike. If no trains move for a day... They're going to feel it very quickly. As one stack train if late can result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.

I work for BNSF. A lot of us think BNSF may be using this harsh policy to force people to resign and then claim manpower shortages to speed up their push for 1 man crews.

That's what I've been hearing.

Federal Judge Mark T Pittman worked for BNSF Law Firm, how is this not a conflict of interest? BNSF has thousands of furloughed employees they could simply activate, this policy doesn't make since unless pushing 1 man crews.

Hey man I know a lot about this policy I find it messed up my dad works for BNSF as a division trainmaster and I don’t think the policy would affect him at all but I wanna see if we could probably try to get them to renegotiate about the policy

I read the temporary restraining order, BNSF is just protecting themselves from a wildcat strike.

BNSF’s new policy still runs circles around other class 1 railroads.

Until you know the absenteeism percentage rate for any company you don't rock the boat, as this company is, then it's likely they've done the maths and don't like the answer. It's a privately owned company competing with publically owned, perhaps the owners getting ready to dump as business picks up?
@Shortline8192 жыл бұрын
Doubt it. Warren Buffet famously plays for the long term and BNSF has been closing the profitability gap with UP.

You can disagree with me all you want but in my opinion railroads should be kept as private entities but they should be managed better and have better safety protocols and better pay and stuff like that There for they wouldn’t get themselves stuck in places with the Union and the Supply Chain Crisis and having a toxic work environment
