Brilliant vid /drone coverage ! I have not been out to Abo Canyon since 1996 , when I got the Santa Fe Warbonnets right around merger time. Boy , the canyon has been hacked to bits to allow the new double track there. I must say I liked it the way is was. The westbound afternoon fleets at bridge one was a real treat. Thanks for posting this great vid.

I worked the Belen Yard for many many years building trains. Conductor but never got on the transcontinental boards. Belen and West was the Coastline and East of Belen was another seniority district. Nothing originated in Belen, either Clovis/Amarillo or Winslow. Belen was the away from home terminal for each. Did though promote to Engineer out of Denver and that was the absolute best!! Still know many working Belen and on the Transcon. (BNSF Engineer, retired) Spectacular video! Brings back many memories!

@AcmeCinematographyАй бұрын
It’s an ordeal to get the music licenses … we get the music from many sources including KZbin which has a section of music for these types of videos. My suggestion. Never ever use music that includes spoken words. That severely limits the available library.

This is another beautiful video of the BNSF (former Atcheson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad) southern Transom line. This time through New Mexico. The trains were long, and most were double stack trains. The scenery was spectacular. Do you plan out the locations where you are going to wait for a train to come past your location or do you drive along and find an interesting location and wait for a train to appear? Thank you for taking the time to capture these BNSF Railway trains in these beautiful locations and for uploading this video for our enjoyment!
@AcmeCinematography Жыл бұрын
Thanks !!!! We use google earth to plan out places that may be of interest! There are enough trains on this line one can just stop and get a train at any location usually within 15 minutes .. often much less!
