Nashville & Ashland City 100 was formally Rock Island (CRIP) 1333. Around 1992, N&A 100 was sold to the Mid-Atlantic Railroad (MRR) in Chadbourn, NC. In 1995, the MRR was bought out, and renamed the Carolina Southern (CALA). 100 was soon repainted into its corporate red & white livery, and was christened with the name H.H. Horne. Of whom was the previous Roadmaster. In 2015, the defunct Carolina Southern was purchased by RJ Corman, and Renamed RJ Corman Carolina Lines (RJCS). 100 was soon repaired, and repainted into the RJ Corman livery. Around 2016 she was moved to another location for use as an industrial switcher. Having previously worked for CALA myself, I can attest she earned the reputation of being the most reliable unit on the roster.
