Besides the screws and the opfor night solutions tag, what else is different from the Canadian version to the ones straight from argus?

Quality control and testing is done in Canada. Each housing unit is negative pressure tested for seal, powered on with a pair of Photonis tubes to test electronics and gain, pod threads are inspected with Carson diopters, etc. They are also warrantied and repaired in North America to avoid long turnaround times or shipping to and from Asia.

I know this is an old video, but I noticed when you triple press the power button, it’ll have the same effect as pressing it 5x. Is this intended? Or is there a difference between the 3x press and 5x press? Thanks

5x is for tilt shut off 3x is for disabling the 3-min auto timer unit shut off

I just received a pair myself. How does the batter pack adapter cap come out of the housing? Can't seem to get it out.

Old comment but they’re a lot heavier. But they have manual gain vs auto gain. They’re also a lot cheaper than the katanas

It depends on configuration. This particular unit has lightweight lenses but heavier tubes and weighs in at 495 grams.

What’s required to make the mx11769 tubes to work with the housing? I have elbit and L3 tubes with the removable the pig tails. I can’t find any info online any direction would be appreciated thank you.

No, the fact that you have to pull and twist on a pvs14 makes the double press easier in my opinion.
