I love Hell of a Ride because it’s just Bo cutting loose and reminding everyone that he is really, really good at this. I’ve read elsewhere that the fandom believed for a while that this was his “retirement” song - thankfully not the case!

Its weird how serious and good he was at rap, only to then decide it was morally wrong.
@Itsant332 жыл бұрын
Mostly felt like he can play the game exactly the way he want and be as successful as he wants but also that even if he puts out a message that's genuine it would be lost since no one genuinely cares about artists

Solarplexus is the center of your stomach made of nerves near diaphragm that stimulates all your organs. When you get fluttering in your stomach thats your solarplexus reacting to stress. Center system of your body. Which is the pun of fuck the system.

It's also a pressure point. The lightest touch to it can knock the wind outta you.

@@MontgomeryWenis a complex of ganglia and radiating nerves of the sympathetic system at the pit of the stomach. Is its literal definition. But yes a punch to the gut sends a shock to the nerves over stimulating them to overload and have to calm down to allow their stimulation to fade and regain control.

IMO, the song itself is an embodiment of its title. It brings in the organ and gospel choir, so you think you're "riding to heaven", but then the verse kicks in and he takes you through this rollercoaster ride of these lyrics and delivery. Bo tends to subvert expectations in his songs.

Fuckin awesome song and reaction. You’re right, Bo’s composition abilities should be admired. Jumping in and out of all the genres he does takes serious talent and a deep understanding of music theory. Can’t wait for more! Cheers

"It's the type of stuff you hear in, like, a Disney track"--you effectively compared him to Alan Menken, which is a fittingly flattering compliment!

Love it man, love hearing your insight. I don't have many more Bo songs to recommend, but "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead is like poetry for the soul to me, would love to see you do a reaction to it one day I'd even be happy to donate to the channel if it gives a better chance of you listening to it. Have a good day brother ❤️

During lock down, I am not a teacher just an old comedy club manager/booker who had the time to wrangle my and some other kids. I introduced a bunch of teens to Bo and said - you're going to tell me about this. We're going to look up the words and the references. Talk about the different levels. Compare him to other artists like this from Gilbert and Sullivan to Tom Lehr and Carlin, Zappa to Eminem and Tupac. I love that these kids still send me links when they find something clever and funny.

Unfortunately, these lyrics aren't exactly correct. Solar plexus is a part of the human body that's known for being highly sensitive. It's a pressure point.
