Thinking about Hope before he "marries" Carly and that "blessing" from Hope from above was a big move Bo had to make with Hope being "dead"(she actually isn't dead. Hope has a new life as this Gina persona which is dead to Bo,Shawn-Douglas and their families).

During Bo's brain tumor storyline in 2015 and Bo died in Hope's arms. Roman was heartbroken with grief because to Roman Bo was his little brother. Roman and Kimberly were the only ones who ever called Bo their little brother because he was. He is Roman and Kimberly's little brother. Big brother and big sister being there for little brother. But while Roman was grieving for Kate thinking his little brother Bo was responsible for Kate's "death" and Bo never killed Kate he made Megan believe that he killed her and Marlena and Kayla but apparently they were very much alive and well and fighting for freedom and planning an escape from Megan's island compound hideaway.

Bo was always Roman's little brother. Roman loved Bo. And Bo's death hit Roman real hard as it did Kayla. But very very soon it could all change when Bo and Hope plus Ciara the baby all return to Salem together surprising everyone and then finding out about Victor's death.

Roman is the eldest. Which means whenever it comes to his parents Shawn and Caroline or his sisters Kimberly and Kayla or his brother Bo. Roman was always the Brady family protector. Like with Bo who he always calls Little Brother it kinda makes alot of sense. When Bo died it took it pretty hard only because there was Hope and Shawn-Douglas and Ciara and Claire to think about. Shawn and Ciara lost their father. Claire lost her grandpa Bo. And Roman,Kimberly and Kayla lost their little brother and Caroline and Victor lost their only child who gave Victor and Caroline four grandchildren Chelsea Brady,Zack Brady,Shawn-Douglas Brady and Ciara Brady-Weston and granddaughter Claire Brady and now newest member of Bo and Hope's family Ben and Ciara's baby son. Bo and Hope are going to be grandparents to a grandson which means Victor will be great great grandpa Victor Kiriakis and Doug and Julie Williams will be great grandparents and Dr Tom and Alice Horton would be great great great grandma and grandpa Horton.
