Bo Diddly was into electronics so started designing his own guitars and amplifiers.

@TropicalLatitude Thank you for taking a moment to respond to my comment and share that bit of information about her life with me. I hope the family life suited her and fortune smiled upon them.

Cool! Your aunt Norma Jean is now considered a rock'n'roll icon, a female pioneer in the music biz! In this clip, she outshines all the other girls with her looks, but most of all her carisma and attitude!

This is a very good clip of Bo Diddley live on "Hollywood A Go Go" back in 1965..I am a big fan of Bo Diddley's early 1960's music and my favorite one is from 1965 and he does it live on the "Hollywood A Go Go" on this clip and it's called "Let Me Pass" ! 😏

Skinny white girls with ironed hair. Another adolescent memory from the local dances.

He influenced Stones, Beatles, Zeppelin and more. They all said so. That's why I came here. Maybe this is the reason music now in 2021 seems like it's 'missing something'. Artists now aren't studying and learning their history. They are stuck in a producer machine and unable and even not allowed to create their own material.
@aarondigby98592 жыл бұрын
All the singers and musical entertainers are pigeon holed these days, no creativity, just really full. You get a couple that squeak pass because of some choreographed dance moves, scantily clad females but for the most part it's dead.

I landed on this video after listening to Michael Nesmith's book "Infinite Tuesday." He talks about the rhythm between Bo and Pegyy's guitars and how inspiring it was to him! 💗💗

This is so true. Artists with a unique sound seem to miss mainstream or if they hit luck after first album they're pushed and molded for masses
