Even though I was a little kid and he didn't play for the Royals for too long he is my favorite Royals player of all time

I never got to see him play in person. My first Royals game was as a “tourist” you could say (from Nebraska) in July 1986, two months before he made his debut. I must have heard about him because I had his dual sports poster on my wall for a couple of years (I was a huge fan of his I guess LOL) and then he got hurt and released. Kirby Puckett poster replaced him on the wall. The only difference is that I got to see Kirby play in person in 1995 at the metrodome, but I got to see Bo in person at the 50th season celebration at Fanfest. I also have two Bo Jackson bobbleheads.

He was a BIG DEAL at the time, if he didn't get injured he would've been king of KC for Brett to pass the torch to

I have seen only two athletes make the opposing players just giggle with laughter from disbelief and Bo was one of them

You should post the whole ceremony. I had to record it with my phone while watching on TV because my DVR would’ve cut off in the middle of his speech (in fact it did!)

Bo was the best two sport athletes to ever live just wish he would've played a little longer in the NFL. Just not for the raiders. Go royals and go chiefs!!!!!

Did the fans really have to BOO when Ryan Lefebvre mentioned the pro bowl ? I mean get over it that he played for the raiders. he hasn’t played raiders football in like 33 years!
