It wasn't an ankle pick lmao, it was a single leg, he literally never came close to touching his ankle. Please do more research before commenting lol
@twasgracethattaught7 ай бұрын
@ultimatescapebro I've been wrestling for 3 years. Ankle picks are a favorite move of mine. I know how they work. He didn't grab his ankle, but he used the exact same motion as an ankle pick. He pushed the head with the overhook while simultaneously lifting the opposite leg. The only reason he did it at the calf instead of the ankle is because in mma's stance, he doesn't need to bother going that low. Would you rather I call it a calf pick? Because that wasn't a single leg, it was a pick. Take your own advice before trying to be a keyboard warrior.
@ultimatescapebro7 ай бұрын

What’s truly terrifying about his credentials and style is displayed at 3:37. You can tell from his earlier pro fights he’s drilled this a lot. Wide stance when striking that also threatens the takedown with feints. If he grabs you, he takes you down; if he feints and you try to defend the takedown dropping your hand, he’ll blast you with his heavy hands; plus he darts in and out constantly almost karate or Taekwondo-esque. Truly a nightmare to fight against.
@dtc82497 ай бұрын

@Avalanche_Hockey166Ай бұрын
What’s interesting about BO I think is that regardless of his elite wrestling you can clearly see he’s got heavy hands. His wrestling base will be his foundation and that will translate to him being able to learn more on the ground in terms of BJJ. For a guy who’s been wrestling since early childhood while taught to keep his shoulders off the Mat at all costs…. he sure as hell transitioned to a smooth triangle choke off of his back which was very impressive and promising coming from a life long wrestler like him. He’s got all the tools and if he gets to working with an elite striking coach he could really make some serious noise in the UFC I think. Not to mention that his body type is big and strong with some length too. Solid height with what looks like a good reach arm wise and long legs. I’d get him plenty of Practice and help from top striking coaches. Keep at it overtime so he can Develop some crisp boxing out of that south paw position. To top it off? since he’s not afraid of being taken down? Maybe even a Muay Thai coach. His stance and foot work looks is as if it’s little far back so possibly teach him to rifle some leg or body kicks off that back foot. You already know not many are eager to shoot for a takedown so why not? He’s already showed to have extremely promising and impressive traits right off the bat. Work ethic. Competitiveness. Elite wrestling. Cardio. Experience under pressure. Naturally heavy hands. Bo is the biggest prospect I’ve seen in an absurdly long time. I wouldn’t bet against him for a second. This kid could be special for this sport. He’s a natural.
