@@ScentsOverSense just came in and I have to admit that I love it! so strong, but beautiful! that saffron comes out at first, then that nutmeg, then the oud and patchoulis. it's cold today and i had put on royal blends by lattafa, and this blends well with it (nutmeg in both).

Finally! Someone says how I feel about Oud for Glory. I LOOVE this scent, but also find it sorta "Tame". It's not a frag that really screems off me and may be sorta boring and not really noticable unless ya "go ham" with the sprays. Many dissagree evidently.

@@ScentsOverSense wtf man why is no one talking about this having br540 DNA?! I got it today and to me it's basically a fresher br540 with a sprinkling of incense. I really like it so far. I've heard several people say it's beast mode but I'm definitely not getting that. Super weak as of right now. Hopefully letting it macerate for a few weeks will help it develop. And in regards to the whole maceration thing, I thought that shit was dumb lol.....until I experienced it. I bought vintage radio a few months back and hated it. Old lady perfume. Undistinguishable fruit and powder. Big disappointment. Let it sit for a few weeks, holy shit, new frag! The plum finally showed up. The powder disappeared and the woody musky down appeared. One of my faves from 2024. I'm hoping that magic happens with this. 🤞 Thanks again for the video. 🤘

This is definitely an easy introduction to oud. You get that saffron and patchouli on the dry down, but Baccarat, idk about that one. I don't pick that up. I can agree with it being close to amethyst though. After I wear it for an hour or so it starts to sit closer to the skin for me. Great buy for $16. I think I paid like $24

I really like Oud for Greatness every time I try it in Selfridges and the way you described this clone now I have to get it! 😁 SOTD is Ambassador Man by Gisada (bit like Sauvage with a big dose of a Mango gummy smell, delicious)

I love this banger as a layering scent! But I don’t really get any BR540? But ouds are next level for most Western tastes. Many of the popular hyped “Oud” fragrances are really an oud accord, not true oud, so they generally smell different, more subdued and smoother, more marketable for Western tastes. 👍🏼

Instead of using FRAGANTICA, try using PARFUMO to see what to layer certain fragrances with. QAED AL FURSAN was my first LATTAFA purchase when I first got started in the FRAG COMM. last April. OUD FOR GLORY was my second. I got 3 compliments from this fragrance within the first 2 or 3 wearings. One of those compliments came from my mother who then immediately asked me to order a bottle for my uncle who lives in ANTIGUA 🇦🇬. the WEST INDIES. I never thought of BACCARAT with this fragrance, but I might wear it tomorrow layered with a BACCARAT inspired body oil in 30° - 40° temperature. HONOR & GLORY is my favorite out of the 4 in this line. B.T.W. BE EASY ON THE TRIGGER 👊🏿

Different smell . Has to be cold weather banger only . Above 65 degrees gets sketchy. Last time I wore this for whatever reason my wife said i smelled like celery . And I’ve had it for 5 months already maybe needs more maceration time. In the right conditions it’s a nice different smell but like said the last wear celery I’m contemplating giving away if it happpens again

I shamefully admit that even though I tried over 70 clones, I haven't tried this one, or any BR540 clone yet (or the OGs). You got an amazing deal on that one. Cost only like 3 decants, so no reason to get a decant before you buy it.

Just head to the department store in your town and smell BR 540. I actually have a video coming out on scent profiles that everyone needs to smell and that’s one of them lol Yeah, try and get your nose on it. It’s a very interesting Sam profile. Definitely worth smelling just to see what it’s about.
