I forgot that my ceiling is not as high as I thought it would be and threw the stick up for a spin and I heard a loud noise "CLANG". Awesome, the ceiling fan took another spin of my stick and sent it to the dining table and bounced off right into the family pictures and some valuable decorating items... thanks sensei, you taught us everything but not how to prevent breaking valuables. I guess I deserved sleeping on the couch for a while or maybe forever???

This sir, is an excellent tutorial and an excellent bit of teaching by someone who 100% knows what he's talking about.... Im out in Vietnam learning their traditional martial arts võ cổ truyền.... I just started learning their staff techniques. If you have time, please look that art up, or the lovely little first staff form đả hổ lương đầu côn (basically: hitting the tiger 🐅 with a big stick) the beautiful art needs more publicity. I started typing my reply half way through the video... and jeez, it just got better and better.... You sir, should be proud of your teaching. I qualified as a highschool teacher in 1994 and have, for years now, taught, observed and trained many school teachers... I know some ace teaching when I see it!

But isn't it true that all the single hand technique is great for chi meditation and show but actual fighting requires 2 hands on staff. RIGHT? I had a boring job on a conveyer belt frozen fillet scangrader fish separator and used a metal bo staff to keep machine clear for 2 years and invented on my own all the one hand techniques just because there's only so many ways to twirl a baton.
