Bo The Tank Commander??? - Spearhead 1944

Spearhead 1944 this week dropped as a DLC for Arma 3! I honestly never expected this to happen and does it live up to expectations? Stick, Bear, myself and others bring the assault to Normandy in an attempt to capture towns and secure objectives. Let us know what you think and if you would like to see more!

I don't know why but the "radio" filter the game puts on Bear and Stick made their random comments at least three times funnier. Also someone really needs to give Stick a tank-driving cheatsheet. ArmA has used Q, W, _and_ E for different driving speeds at least since A2 if not the original game 😂

They don't let him drive alot, something about not trusting him to not run into everything or something like that

depends on pre-setting, i'm used to ctrl + W for slow speed, just w for normal and shift + w for fast

@@the_babbleboom Now that you mention it, I think those are alternate defaults, since shift+W works for me as well. I never knew ctrl+W worked for slow drive though.

The problem with tank simulators is that the TC can't physically kick the driver in the head when needed.

Loved the video @botimegaming! Can't wait for the next video man! I 100% would love to see an ArmA Series with Spearhead 1944. Just waiting to see Stick try and Drive an M4A1(76mm) Sherman, M10 (Wolverine) 3" GMC and M-18 (Hellcat) 76mm GMC Tank Destroyers and an M5A1 Stuart Light Tank at some Various points LMAO! Also, Look out for any French Vehicles as you make your way to Paris like the Souma S-35 or the Char B1. They'll be in German Colors and Markings and they should be pretty easy to kill. As Bernard Law Montgomery said to the Troops as they made their way across the English Channel "Good Hunting in the Fields of Normandy Gentlemen!"

I recall playing a game similar to this years ago. I don't know if this is a refinement of that game or not but it looks good. Once Stick gets used to the speed controls and Bo allows the tank to move more than 2 yards at a time, those battles should go faster.

Omg i love Speerhead. Never expected to see you play it. It's convenient to have one DLC mod instead of 10 WW2 mods for Arma 3 especially if you want to play with friends who aren't in WW2 stuff that much.

Time 4:46 Stick complained, “I got REARENDED!” At work one day I was standing in the Tech Library looking up the procedures of fixing the structure of a KC-135 when the guy behind the desk says the reason for his being late was his wife was REARENDED on her way to work. Being fresh out of the Navy, bad language was always running through my mind, so without even thinking I blurted out “Kinky”. I was standing in the middle of about 4 other supervisors and everyone but the lady’s husband laughed. The guy running the library never spoke to me again. LMAO
