Grip is needed on the M16. Aiming at the waist with grip normally gives one-burst kills. It's a pain to get used to, but once I figured out the right attachments and where to aim the one-burst kills became quite common. It has the quickest TTK of all ARs, but making sure the entire burst connects takes some finessing.

There is a method of using amplify and using dead silence in WWII but due to how the divisions system works you arent able to use the 2 perks together. Theyve done this with lots of OP perk combos in order to balance the game.

You might want to put either grip or a boa sight. It has the same type of recoil wobble as the XR-2, so it's hard to hit all shots of a burst at range. Rapid fire would also probably help a lot since it reduces not only the time in between shots but also decreases the burst delay.

If you are experiencing recoil, use BOA & Grip together with your High cal to get 1-shot kills, I use ELO, Stock, High Cal & FMJ on my M16

The boa sight increases Center speed by 10% the grip attachment reduces recoil by 7% therefore I put boa on all my weapons that need grip and it frees up an extra slot

I use boa and extended. extended because you are gonna be firing a lot because of the recoil. every supply drop gun is gonna have a huge negative and the negative of the m16 is the recoil with the burst. typically only going to land 1-2 bullets from the 3 round burst from 20 yards away. further is less unless you get lucky. its good power for the bullet, but too much recoil for the burst.

I prefer the Reflex over the BOA3 for the M16. It just seems to give me a bit more accuracy. I think it's the fine, pinpoint reticle compared to the larger, oblong reticle of the BOA.

The m16 is really weird... I've noticed it takes a lot of bursts to hit. Either the bullet reg is bad or the burst delay is too long. The fire rate is like in the 400's whereas the m8 is in the 500's I think.
