Hello from Aviemore, just bumped into your channel whilst 'googling' six moon designs tents! Thinking of getting one for quick and light camps round the Gorms, would love a Scarp1, but they're expensive and out of stock - thinking a 6md might be a cheaper makey do for now. How you getting on with it? Looks like they can take "normal" weather, but how's condensation? You keep your pole long to keep a ventilation gap? Keep up the good work.
@WalkWithWallace4 жыл бұрын
Hey Paul, the SMD Lunar Solo is a great summer tent. Plenty space and the built in bugnet is ideal. Condensation is only an issue when there is no breeze which is quite rare in Scotland. I set my pole at 125cm as standard to be honest.

@@DunkDaMan1 9 times out of 10 you don't get bothered by midges on summit camps. It has to be really still and warm. Drop down into the glens on the otherhand it can be savage!
