i dont get how breaking news work. 1)If draw one for each day, why you have this many cards and also why the game rules say shuffle and put the breaking news PILES on table... 2) each round both breaking news are on effect ?

I don't think you necessarily need to put the stacks out. Just one for each day. Then you flip over the one card for Fri and that is in effect. Then when Sat happens you ONLY play with the Sat breaking news card and put Fri card away.
