Ooo, what’s going on? Are we back on a more regular schedule? 😜🤣🤣 Great mention of the Scarred For Life books. 👍😄👍 I am actually in the third book under the “Your memories of VHS Horror”, on page 33 just above the Twitter bird. 🤣🤣🤣 I am going round send a link to this video to the Scarred For Life guys, so they can see your great comments. Cheers.

Ha well i'm not going to make a bold claim like we are on schedule but.... I'll keep a look out for you, it's a dense book and I've barely scratched the surface. Thanks for the share I'm terrible at this social media stuff.

Emberleaf is a *significant* reworking of game called Defection that failed to crowdfund a few years ago, with them joining together with Frank West to rework it. Gone is the sci-fi theme, replaced by anthromorphic creatures. Unfortunately I can never remove the thought that it's a kiddies theme, albeit plenty of other adults are fine with it.

Weirdly I caught an email today all about this very thing, I remember encountering Defection back at the beginning of its journey at an Airecon days past. If I remember rightly I broke the version they had there and have moved in and out of its orbit since. I had no idea about the connection until this afternoon when I saw the email from the designer saying this. And yeah I do bang up against this Sylvanian Families theme, City Of Kings had an excellent fantasy aesthetic and vibe that evoked WOW but very much was its own thing and honestly the subsequent cuddly critters look has sort of lost me.

Watching this a few days late, as I was away camping. And board gaming at the same time. 7 days with a large marquee and lots and lots of games.

@@WhoDaresRolls Nah, it's great. Field Of Games at Silverstone each year, and there is a group of us who meet up several times a year at the weekend to camp and play board games. Friday evening after setting up, all day Sat, and usually Sunday morning too. You just need to pick your friends more carefully :)

@@WhoDaresRolls That's where Field Of Games excels - with a horde of feral children, they al entertain themselves. I barely saw mine between breakfast and midnight :)
