I can add some insight into the version of Washington's War (board game) that you have. You have the first edition of the game, published in 2010. There have been 2 newer editions published since then, in 2015 (the second printing) and just recently here in 2024 (the third printing). That explains the price differences you see on eBay. It is a classic war game published by GMT games, a very well known top publisher of war games. Recently I have researched the game, watching KZbin videos on how it's played, etc. I decided to purchase the game so I spent a few days here very recently looking to pick up a copy & ironically I did spot your copy for sale on eBay, which caught my eye because I live in the next town over (Chester) where the game was located (according to your listing info). I always check the location of items prior to purchasing because I like buying from local ppl whenever possible. Anyway, I think you did price it fairly in your listing....it was the lowest price I found & deservedly so because it's the oldest edition. The game is more valuable to ppl who know the game because it's a game they will play, vs value strictly as a collectible imo. GMT regularly reprints their games & this one is no exception. This alone makes their older editions worth less. Also, they frequently update the rulebooks when they do reprints to fix errors & add rules tweaks. Many times they add player aids & other extras when they reprint games. In this particular case, they have added new player aids & updated the rules in the newer editions. That's why you will see some copies for $60 & more. Those are the newer editions, w/ the upgrades & errata included in the box. Hope you find this info is of some value to you!

Nice! I'm on Candia/Hooksett line. If you wanted to meet up in person and do a cash transaction, we could certainly do that. Let me know.

@@MikeHammersmithreselling ya, thanks... I just stumbled upon your video like 30 minutes ago & earlier today I had put in an offer to a private seller that I'm waiting to hear back on. When I saw your eBay listing several days ago, I saw no mention of local pickup option so I assumed there was none. I have inquired in the past a few times & I think sellers are reluctant to do that for some reason. Anyway, if I hear back that the copy I made an offer on was already sold I will def let you know & we can arrange something.

@@andrewwalsh531 I've never listed it that way because the odds of someone being local enough to make it work are slim. If I have something too large for ebay I do Facebook Market place, but yeah, let me know if you're in need.
