Board Game Shopping Spree in the Black Friday Sales , Bargain Hunting at Chaos Cards boardgames

I actually found Distilled on offer for Black Friday and was able to get it and it's expansion for the price of the base game. It's a gift so I'm hoping the recipient likes it! Fingers crossed! I tried not to go too crazy because we're going to our first board game convention this week so figured there might be some game purchasing there.

To be honest that sounds like a great bargain! I am a huge fan of that game (as you may well know- I'm not too subtle about it!) There's a really great "first tastes" how to play which gets even people new to the hobby up and playing in minutes so suggest that for who ever you're giving the gift to.

@@BoxedMeeples Yes, I remember you were even teaching it at a convention! My husband is getting it for Christmas and he is really into distillery tours and is a certified bartender so I think it's going to be the perfect theme for him. And love the First Tastes thing! Even just for me to help teach it as I am the one who learns the rules typically.

Spirit Island is one of my favourites but only played it solo. I got Boon Lake, Fit to Print, Juicy Fruits, Evergreen and an Unlock Kids. I used the monthly discount and my credit to get to about £100.

@ For me an early Xmas gift. As with your challenge I had allocated myself £100 as a treat. My 8 year old is really into these mystery games and we just finished the first Unlock Kids so that was just timing. I also grabbed some Pokémon bits that will go for Xmas.
