"Very plain HGTV." Nice analogy Ellen. I love city/community building games. I was hoping to get my pre-order of Lost ruins of Anark before Christmas... but it's not looking good. Still keeping my fingers crossed. Mariposas looks like a fun game that I have yet to pull the trigger on. Hope you share your thoughts on it after you play it.

These are all the games I was on the fence about this year. I’m a little bummed because they’re ending up on a lot of top ten lists with commentary about how they didn’t get enough buzz but I’m like “you’re the people who buzz, why weren’t you buzzing when they came out!”. Which reminds me, Honeybuzz is the other one.
