My Picks: They are great choices for beginners, but long time gamers will happily play them as well. Architects of the West Kingdom-Great entry level worker placement. Place your workers get benefits and mess with your friends. Horrified: Great family game. Defeat monsters by running around the map accomplishing objectives Cartographers- Tetris, but way more fun and getting to doodle. Sushi Go! Party-This game can make almost anyone have fun. Enough said Pandemic- Classic game for a reason. All about a team cooperating to use their abilities and action points as efficiently as possible. Azul- Great puzzle, another Classic Undaunted- Best entry level war game. Battle with a friend with easy rules, but hard choices. I wanted to put a battle games, but had a hard time choosing a beginner one. I wanted to say something like Inis, or Root, but they are hardly beginner games. Heroes of Land Air and Sea or Smallworld work, but unlike the other games beginners will quickly grow out of them.
