I love your description of how you can ride a glider. You made mine about 6 years ago? Mine has the middle concave…but everything else seems about the same as what you are currently shaping. I ride a 7 1/2” fin as well and love it. Mine is an 11’-6” purple or lilac tint…I get tons of compliments on its color and classic outline. It did take some time to adapt but I now prefer this board over anything else for where I ride (Doheny or Sano) Thanks Matt….the glider you made me has kept surfing interesting for me as I….mature I am now 76.

Nice Board! Was it Christenson that coined the name Glider? Skip Frye and other San Diego guys call them Big Boards.

I’d like to see more of a high-performance rail on the glider. I have one very similar to this board and I actually added FC outside bites and one smaller in the middle fin and I quite like it. It’s actually a little bit more stable than what it was as a single fin, Although I’ve yet to try the 2+ one configuration in bigger waves.

I think the single concave to double helps the board get in earlier during paddling.
