Dear Ms. Hall, This show was shot more than 10 years ago and was uploaded 5 years ago. Yours is the very first comment EVER. The show aired in Hawaii and Cali 10 years ago and not since. The few people who learned of the Abrolhos have little chance of surfing Oz let alone find their way to WA and a ride out to the islands or a place to stay once there (as you must know, it's not even a day trip -- you need more time). In the future you might want to hold your tongue until you know all the facts. The ocean belongs to everyone...that includes the waves.

You are a very angry person, get over it. I don't need to hold my tongue, of course I know all the facts, we lived there. Don't tell me to hold my tongue....who the hell are you except someone exposing this wonderful sanctuary? Living on the Island was the most precious, experience ever and I was certainly lucky and honored to have had that time with my daughter that was at school there for 4 seasons. Swimming with the seals and the kids having fun without TV, Ipads or telephones. So who the f$cking hell are you?? Except someone that wants to make money? Just one last question....do you support shark culling?

Roberta Hall Ms Hall, how many people did you see out there that came because of our show? Were you dropped in on by any of those people? Did any of these folks do anything to hurt the environment? We were there for 10 days, surfed dozens of different breaks and NEVER saw another surfer in the water. As for shark culling, what the hell does that have to do with the one surfing show that had a viewership of about 5000 households 10 years ago? Territorialism is THE worst problem faced by surfers following their bliss. I grew up surfing anywhere I wanted and could get to -- why should that change because you don't like it? I understand that you might not be happy about it but, you have no more right to the Abrolhos than anyone else. As long as OZ remains a democracy there are no laws keeping anyone from showing up out there. On top of all the above, we (Rusty and crew) were invited to the islands by people who had and continue to have a bit more credibility in the Abrolhos than you -- career fishermen. We did one show 10 years ago...we've also done shows from Easter Island, Christmas Island, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji -- we have yet to receive one complaint from anyone. We made $0 on that show -- I got no salary, just a wonderful experience. We had our expenses covered...that's it. I made several very good friends out there and everyone was welcoming and happy to see us. You should get over it and You seem to be the one who is angry -- and the only one throwing insults. We had a great time and not one of us has ever had the pleasure of returning. I would really love to have this discussion face to face sometime, if only to see who really got so upset about nothing. Do you also write Sir Attenborough and complain about his film crews visiting remote locations? Think about it...it's really no big deal we came we surfed and we left. PS: Sharing is a concept I hope you are teaching your children -- no one owns the oceans. Aloha
