Pure genius! Only wished I coul have seen some filmed footage of the finished table instead of pictures only. Amzing video though

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can just walk around it, so filming would be too close for a good shot.

I have a Game Topper 1.0 Holmes and I love this idea. What thickness of MDF board would you recommend at a minimum?
@BoardgameHeaven3 жыл бұрын
I used 22mm, but I think 18mm should be sufficient. I just like the thickness of the edge better in 22mm.

I love this idea! I was curious if you think that using a 1x4 Kallax and cutting it in half to make 1x2 sections for the corner "legs" would be feasible. This could provide a larger opening for the end seats. Just not sure if the sides would allow for it.

It's doable I think, but half a 1x4 might be slightly less tall than a 2x2 without the top. You'd have to carefully measure it.

@@BoardgameHeaven I think the measure would and cut would have to be dead on, but it looks like (mathematically), they might be about the same size. Depending on the width of the blade. Again, if that measurement/cut is off it's wobble-city! Still like your design process, never occurred to me to use a small Kallax as a table base. I have 5 of the bigger ones all up in my house!
