My City is delightful- my wife and I played through it in 8 days (one chapter per day), took a week off, and are now doing it again!! (With the same set- but instead of getting first place/other rewards, this time winner gets second place, and it makes the game tighter!) Best fun/$ in my collection!

I really enjoy Karen Gillan as well. In addition to Gunpowder Milkshake, Amy Pond from Doctor Who and Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy, she also plays Ruby Roundhouse in the recent Jumanji movies.

I can't wait to get my copy of the Everdell complete collection. I only heard of Everdell a few years ago and I have been dying to play it. I just have to wait patiently for another year or so for the kickstarter.

I played Slay the Spire on my switch more than probably any other single video game in my recent gaming history (over 300 hours). Lately I've been going through various other rougelite deckbuilders inspired by it: Tainted Grail, Rouge book, Monster Train, + others that weren't so great (and Thea which is good, but I don't count in the genre). Slay is still excellent against all of these for the balance in difficulty and ability to overcome. Most of them seem to let you just steamroll after a point, which is a downer, but they are excellent at least until you beat that initial big hump and explore the variations they provide. Monster Train's DLC though has been creating a much tougher experience that I'm working on currently.

If you haven't yet you should watch Agents of Shield. Its a really great show, honestly best marvel show, I have it even over all the new ones, although I haven't seen loki yet. I think the only slow point is season 1 first couple of episodes are episodic while at the same time establishing all the characters.

I spoiled myself by watching some overviews of where Invincible is going based on the comics (which it follows mostly). I'd say it's a better story compared to the Boys (which leans into the shock value over story).
