My kids keep demanding to play flip 7 before they go to bed. My 6 year old still doesn't understand when to stop. He keeps screaming 'HIT ME' until he busts and then gets super angry. I couldn't convince him to stop even when he had 100pts in front of him. He won the game via 7 flips the very first game he played and he's been chasing that high ever since. Oh my boy, never go to a casino.

I saw Tom Vassel talking about 2023 and the game almost did not “move” - too early to tell - I think 3-4 years would be a sweet spot to see how “hype”and “hotness” settled - revisiting rankings from 3-4 years ago would be great!

I don't know about 20 to 11 specifically but: Minos - haven't played yet Ezra - number 1 for 2024 Loot - Played, didn't like Civolution - haven't played yet Daitoshi - low interest i playing Harmonies - Played, didn't like Pampero - played once, not in my top 20 Unconscious Mind - low top 20 Endeavor - no interest Inventions - in top 20, probably 10-15 Andromeda's - haven't played yet Team Garden - low interest in playing 7th Citadel - no interest Flip 7 - it's fine Sankore - on my table now, in top 20 Spectacular - in top 20

There are not 20 good games in a year. In a very good year there are 3~4 games worth having/playing over older games

Apparently there are because they made a top 20. Most of us don't get to play 20 games but most of the new games I play are pretty good.

There are luckily way more than 20 fantastic games in a year, or else I would be sad! Are they better than your favorites? Hard to say already. Do they need to be? Not for everyone, and everyone has their own way of playing games :)
