CARNIVAL ALLOWED HATE CRIME Hello!! my boyfriend and I (gay couple) were on the carnival horizon March 27th -April 2nd . This was my 4th carnival cruise and my boyfriends 1st. I was very excited to take him on his first cruise we took out of Miami. The first sea day my boy friend experienced a hate crime while waiting outside the mens bathroom a man said homophobic slurs along with threatening to punch him in the face if he were to enter the bathroom. My boyfriend contacted our waiter lance and he called security but the security took my bf away while he was calm and did nothing but still allowed this man to say slurs and threats and never once held him back only his wife holding him back smh I’m very displeased they allowed him to stay on every port while carnival made sure to make there money off that customer and do nothing to protect us or make us feel safe but offered a steak dinner at the steakhouse smh we ask guest service to please remove the man for he had ruined our trip especially my boyfriend who was scared to walk with his hands out because of his nails he felt he had to hide his identity smh he felt uncomfortable going to bathroom alone and carnival on the ship said they could do nothing unless it was physical but this man was free to intimidate us the rest of our trip with stares and laughs I’m very upset with carnival my boy friend experienced a hate crime I will be emailing carnival on Monday along with calling to let them know about our experience I’m very displeased and need something done for my boyfriend he know wants to go to therapy over this he is so shaking from it we filed reports on ship and they also brought Miami pd on disembark but the Miami pd said we could file suit we got off in Miami along with having a horrible experience on carnival our flight was canceled and we booked through carnival for flight and they will not reimburse us for flight or for our Airbnb we spent $200 for my bf brother drove 12 hours from Atlanta Georgia picked us up at 1 am and we drove 12 hours back we have called your customer care and they said they will not give us our money or help the safety of there passengers or future cruisers they offered a discount for future cruise along with steak dinner smh this is unacceptable my boyfriend is 23 he is a baby in this world there was no safety for him or protection be aware of carnival horizon #carnivalhorizon #gay #pride #gaycruise #gayhatecrime #carnival #carnivalcruise #Gaycommunity #news #newsvlog #miami #hatecrime #help

We were on the Odyssey in August of 2021. We loved it!! There was approximately 900 passengers on board. It was very quiet, and seemed like a ghost ship at times. Enjoy!! So many new and different things to see onboard. The elevators are touch less buttons, the around the edge seating in the pool, the technology is fantastic! Have a blast! We did!

Odyssey is beautiful but honestly I have other favorite RC ships. The pool area was beautiful on Odyssey but I didn’t like the way the Promenade was layered out compared to the other RC ships.

Just off this ship Sunday 4/3... it was abt 90% full... aka crowded as hell.. love that the elevator buttons was touchless just hold your finger near buttons an its activated... BUT.. the doors close extremely quick.. beware... the food was not great at all in Windjammer.. they serve u everything except drinks if u want. .wifi was choppy ... casino is smaller ... decent size bathroom. 2 pools both was packed all the time... the solarium had 2 hot tubs an 3 smaller little wading pools.. on deck 16 holds the sports area an sports bar.. they have bumper cars that can go on the basketball court... shout out to the cleaning crew... they were always visibly cleaning an sanitizing everywhere

You hit it on the spot immediately Jay about the Royal Theatre seats. They were EXTREMELY uncomfortable!!! Bionic Bar is my favorite bar. You can get up to 4shots on one drink where as at the regular bar they won’t give you a double shot (of course unless you taking extra care of the bartender).

Tony from La Lido Loca was on it and did his week's shows from there. He had mixed feelings on it. Hi from Bob and Jill in Connecticut. 58 days until ka-russing to Bermuda on Celebrity Summit .

On Royal Caribbean, different classes of ships are by definition going to be different. I haven’t been on either the Odyssey or the Wonder, but they both look great in their own way. The Odyssey looks like a great ship (with maybe the exception of the chairs in the main theater). Enjoy your cruise!

Best to arrive the night before in case flights get screwed up. Ask JJ Cruise. Glad you had few problems. I'll be on Odyssey for the 14-day transat. I think the first task for me on board is getting dining reservations locked in.

They have those crazy chairs on Anthem as well so I am guessing its a Quantum class thing. You cant really compare Oddessy to Wonder since they are 2 different class ships. Wonder can hold 6900 and oddessy can hold 4200 so its going to have smaller spaces. Ill be on Oasis in October and cant wait to try a Oasis class ship! I loved the 270 venue, how the floors move is absolutely crazy to me. There is also a cute cafe with quick bites that you can hang out in 270 when the shades are up and enjoy the sea view. Enjoy your cruise

I went on the odyssey once. I don’t need to go again. I prefer symphony of the sea, the allure then oasis, then odyssey. I haven’t done the wonder yet. Next year. And yes, lime in the coconut drink is a great, and technology is pretty cool. The food was ok too. The shows are incredible.

Okay I gotta say at 9:30 I was kinda taken aback by the Red, White and Yellow condiment pumps for the Ketchup, Mayo and Mustard at the Windjammer. Those things remind me of a traveling carnival in the midwest. Haha. There are nice dispenser pumps that I think would suit a ship better than those plastic things. With that said, because I notice things like that, I hope you have a great trip.

I have a 100% furnished apartment, that includes ALL utilities , WiFi, and maid service, with a fantastic view of this safe and beautiful city, which is super clean. If you are retired on a pension,or can work online from anywhere, please leave these deadly and expensive cities, and go where you can live less expensively. As a bar owner with amazing bartenders-I would skip the bionic bar. I watched Rich and Jazzy use it and it took10 times longer than it would have taken a hard working bartender to make it for you. As a bar owner, I would boycott the bionic bartender. Human bartenders are so much better. My peeps TALK to you!f
