Today we are in Scotland where we travel across the sea to a 50 year old shipwreck with a very interesting myth surrounding it. We attempt to board vessel and find out what happened and what condition the current wreck is in.

You 3 did a podcast a year ago that I just ran across in the back of your van sitting at the table eating popcorn. You should plan the New Year out with doing at least 1 a month or every 2 weeks. Why? Because you 3 are the most real explorers out there. You're not only hilarious but down to earth good people. I love you guys and I believe others might think this is a good idea also. Please!

I love how Norton has become a bit of a history boff.. And Lloydy brings amazing footage (and obviously edits everything into a watchable format). You're doing good lads!! Up the HOE!!

The Birds are Cormorants. They are one of our oldest birds. They have to come out of the water to dry their feathers. Which is why you see them with their wings spread whilst perching. I wonder if Riber would give you touring kayaks to test out. Not as stable as a Sit on Top, but fast to paddle and can keep you dryer as long as you don’t capsize.

She used to camp in the same spot where we camp. She changed it a couple of years ago as it was getting a bit much for her to get onto her car. This year she didn't turn up It was another Hobie that she had, the drive was different, which maybe the one you are referring too.

Hi HoE! 👋🐈 Late to the party. What a fantastic adventure... for you guys AND for us! Jon and Al braved that tetanus ravaged ship and whatever bird poop bacteria/virus it carries (gives me the willies thinking about it!!). Lloydy... again super editing (love the motor oil bit) and the music feed added a lot of tense atmosphere. Reminded me sort of the music from "Ghost Hunters". Again, well done. Another epic film to go into your "Classics" box. Thank you. 🙏 Cyber hugggs 🤗🤗🤗🐈

I remember watching this ship capsize when I was in Primary School. My class window in St Michael's Primary School in Port Glasgow at the top of The Clune Brae, looked out to the Tail Of The Bank ( the name of the part of the river you were at). The scene at the time was amazing if you could use the term to describe it. As a child in her last year in Primary School I thought it was amazing! I have never heard the water called sweet water bay . As for Norton washing his leg in The Clyde.....Not a great idea! The water is filthy! Loved your KZbin show. Brilliant photography ,thanks for the amazing shows. Keep doing what you'd do.

Im thinking of buying that kind of boat/kajak/kanot or wth they're called, they look really cool, We call these birds Ålakråka in sweden, translation is Eel crow, or the correct name is Häger, its actually a bird related to reptiles/dinosours!! People used to hunt them like crazy here back in the day because they eat everything that lives in a lake, and fish was a big food source in sweden back in poor days. Maybe you could do some content in Sweden, its free and legal to walk and camp everywhere in Sweden / Norway.

We need Al to weigh in here. Can you dive responsibly?
@bloodredroses88
@bloodredroses88 Жыл бұрын
@@julest9423you should check out Dive Talk, they make great diving reaction videos of idiots doing stupid things like this. To dive this ship responsibly, Al would need a Wreck/Cave Diving certificate, to get a wreck and cave diving cert, you need basic/advance open water certificates, line laying certs, the correct equipment (multiple lights, tanks, line, compass, correct gas supply etc) And you also need a dive buddy, with the same experience, and emergency plans. Basically he'd be required to have around 100+ dives of depths of at least 130 feet before even thinking about exploring a wreck, especially this size. Oxygen becomes poisonous below 10m under water also, so he'd probably need a Nitrox cert. He would also need to know how to frog kick and be extremely good at it, so he doesn't stir up the silt and cause zero visability. Any underground area with zero natural light and the inability to swim directly up is classed as a cave. To be a cave explorer and get the certification you also need 50 (i think) cave dives. Basically this ship would be a danger to even the most advanced divers because it's unexplored, not mapped and doesn't have line already in it. Without the correct training and certificates you'd almost certanly drown in a ship this size. Check out dive talk, it's an amazing channel and they react to lots of professional videos exploring caves and ships, they also react to idiots with zero training who go from swimming normally to getting lost and dying in the space of a few minutes (no exaggeration) There's also a fantastic documentary called Dave's not coming back, he set the world record for the deepest cave die, then he went back a few months later to recover the body of a diver who had previously drowned in the same cave 10 years previous. Dave got tangled up in his line during the rescue and within a few minutes he was dead. Cave and Wreck diving is seriously dangerious even for professionals when mistakes are made. Edit: just watched Dave Shaws last dive video, it was 56 seconds from being tangled up to being unconcious and then drowning.
