Boat Breaks Down in the Middle of the Lake Worth Lagoon!

Our fishing day starts off bad- having trolling motor issues and lost all power to the prop. We went back to the boat ramp and took our boat to the mechanic and it was fixed up by midday! We went back to the boat ramp and pulled our crab traps, crabbing in Florida.

U never owned a tin head merc with the upside down distributor. Always take that cap off and wipe it. Funny thing more of a Percentage that Brunswick bought Mercury got better till Brunswick owned them

Darci is a tough son of a gun....she is back at doing what she loves, which is crabbing. If my finger was brutally infected like hers from crabbing, I would have bypassed this season all together. But she is much tougher than me.....

Wondering why you leave crab traps soaking so long, along the Oregon Coast we crab for Dungeness. I only have 6 traps that I use, by the time I drop all 6 I wait about an hour then I start picking them back up and generally speaking, they are loaded with a mix of keepers and throwbacks. The limit here is 12 legal size crabs per person, between my wife and I we generally have our limits in 3-4 hours. Good luck and keep on catchin!!

Okuma rocks! I have 5 pack rods. The Nomad travel rods are the bomb! Too bad they discontinued the line. I’ve caught 7.5’ shark from the surf with them. I’m sure they can handle a lot bigger.

Which on board charger went bad? I had a NoCo 2 bank charger eat an 11 month old battery by over charging it. It would look like it was charging when I plugged it in but it would cycle without going into maintaining mode.. charger was 2 yrs old. I have a 5yr old different brand charger for my other 2 starting batteries which has been flawless

Feel ya on your fishman finger, glad it's clearing up. I had a 1/4 inch cut on the back of my hand, slightly red around it the next day when I got up. Next morning it awoke me it hurt so badly, entire hand was swollen to the wrist I couldn't bend my fingers. Doc freaked out worse than me about it. IV bag in each arm, shot in the butt, horse pills for 20 days, cleared up. I now keep bottles of peroxide on the boats, truck, even put a small eye drop bottle in the tackle box for walk-in shore spots. Jealous about those claws, not getting enough here in the panhandle to bother with-Blues are good though.
