Howdy, great video. FYI, right where your moored up you can drop cut bait down and catch endless Horn sharks. I used to troll iron next to all the floating patties across the channel and hook bonita and yellowtail. I used cut bonita for night fishing at our bouy in avalon bay. Great kids activity 😊

Hi there, what an awesome video!! I have a 24ft chaparral boat. I would love to go to Avalon Catalina and spent the night on my boat. The question is does it get choppy at night? Or is it mellow?

No Prob. - if you have any questions, let me know. When you arrive, wait at the front of the harbor for the harbor Patrol boat to assign a mooring. If you don't see them you can reach them on Ch. 12
