Dead set nutters. No way would I go through that “track” and up the narrow valley to that stunning spot. Mad as a cut snake the pair of you. Sooo good to watch and enjoy the madness from the safety of my lounge chair. :) It truly was a magical mystical ancient place. Loved seeing it from your excellent videography. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure.

Well, someones got to do it right? 😊 it was a wild place and we still can’t believe just how “off the beaten path” it really was. Well worth the hike. If only the water was a little more swimmable.

It reminds me of that first “Avatar” movie, with the huge birds that people rode on ! The topography was so like this with the green covered mountains and the WATERFALLS that were everywhere! It’s just magical……the photography is wonderful too, as is the Music!

TOTALLY!! It was such a movie makers dream location. So happy we got to share it with you.

I can always enjoy the sceneries as well as learn so much from you both! I would love to be able to live the same dream. Perhaps when I turn 55, but not sure how to get there yet. Family and my kiddos first! Make sure they get started on the right foot, without dept. I'll see what I can do from there. In the meantime, I can so count on living the dream through these videos. Thank you so very much!!!

Our #Gumbies will get us anywhere. We have pretty much worn flip flops every day for over 3 years and they are perfect for hikes. You get to cool off every time you cross the rivers lol

Wow! That has to be a new Red Seas record! 4 days is pretty impressive. I can only imagine you are sick of our faces by now 😂 We really try to bring everyone along on the adventure and such kind comments only encourage us to work even harder to capture the experiences we have on camera that bit better. There is so much more still to come so I hope you don’t mind falling back to a weekly viewing session after your marathon. Of course (shameless plug here) patreon already has next weeks episode if you are really keen to get up to date 😂

Those Crabs are great to eat and there’s lots of them and they’re easy to catch. We’ve caught gallons of them in Hats because that’s all we had!

Ok, you need a "twirling stick" when you go though the woods. You get a stick light but about 5-8 foot long and hold it in front of you and twirl it in circles about 2-3' in diameter. It catches and sucks up all the spider webs. Also, I am back down in Rio Dulce now on my boat; on the live stream you wanted me to say "Hi" to a friend of yours but I forgot his name/boat name. If you can update me I'll carry your greeting next time I go to RAM or Nianajuana ... wherever he is. Great episode. Great channel. OOPS I see you kinda figure out the "twirling stick" but yours is about 5 feet too short. :)
@RedSeas Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, I was armed with a twig but I upgraded (at great personal expense) to a stick which did the job. I mean it helps when Bri takes us on the right hike to begin with but let’s not get hung up on details 😂 Good to hear you made it to the Rio. I hope you entrance wasn’t too shallow. We have a few connections up there but the one that I think we were chatting about is Eric Lamoray who we know through a Facebook group we set up for people who 3d print on boats. He is doing amazing things printing prosthetics for the people in and around the Rio Dulce. Have so much respect for that.

I actually don’t mind the name “sundowner” tbh.. i don’t know the meaning of your boat name Indioko any meaning to her new name?
@trevhedges Жыл бұрын
Yeah the stack pack definitely looks much better,, No idea why they don’t add them grommets on the bottom to let the water out? Some do.. although you could probably fill the stack pack with clothes washing powder and water, and wash the entire mainsail? 😂. Could work?
@RedSeas Жыл бұрын
It’s a great question. Indioko is actually Ancient Greek for “in pursuit”. We have no idea what we are chasing but it’s fun finding out.

Stay just as you are. Obviously you're not making it up, having a lot of fun acting just the way you are. Don't understand why your channel isn't growing faster.
@RedSeas Жыл бұрын
We can only be us after all. 😂. The only way to grow is for people like you to spread the word too. Perhaps we do a “tell a friend Tuesday campaign or something 🤔 really there are much faster ways to get a million subscribers but we love it that everyone who takes the time to subscribe is actually with us on this little adventure. That is far better than putting iain in budgie smugglers for the clicks…and don’t worry, he won’t be doing that!
