I did a similar job on my Bayliner last year and tried several different ways of cutting out the old glass, the oscillating tool was by far the most effective over all, a disc cutter was definitely faster but the dust was unreal, made me itch for a week!! Great job and good luck with it 👍

Yeah, those titanium blades are a game changer, our last haul out I used only 2! I’m really looking forward to your build and you should do what you want because, like you said, it’s your boat. I do that too, look at this and that and take the portions I like and make it my own. I have an incredible amount of tools too....because I own boats!!! Thanks for the episode

Check out boat works today. Ifmemory serves he found a carbine tipped oscillating tool blade which cuts after and stayed sharp longer.

I’ve used the carbide blades before and they work pretty sweet. There were quite a few staples and other metal I had to cut through too. The titanium ones I use last longer I have noticed. Andy is a great teacher!

I was like a week old or so and was on the water with my parents and sister in my dads Olympic 20’. It has a really special spot in my heart and having a dad that is your hero makes you want to give your kids what you had growing up!
