After nearly getting run over by a boat we do some patch reef fishing and then do some offshore fishing where we catch tons of fish! This will be a mutton snapper catch and cook where I share my fish omlette recipe.
Vertical jigging never seems to fail when mutton snapper fishing. We may get run over by a boat and find ourselves almost in a boat accident but it's all worth it when you're catching tons of fish!

New sub here. I just found your channel! I wish I had found it last year. After my motorcycle accident, I drove to Key West from Tacoma, WA. I spent the month of February in the Keys, and I didn't even know where to start. But I did manage to catch some small snappers before the sharks moved in. I saw the leg up in the air and i immediately thought what's the chance Capt. Rock, I mean Capt. Dan catches the leg with the net and then....... 🤣 I've had the same thing happen a few times. I'm at anchor, they have to entire ocean to traverse but they had to go right past me and wake me out. Too bad your braided line didn't end up in their prop seals. just a suggestion take all bad fish and dump them when you move the boat so the sharks will not wait there for your fish and eat it off your line this is why the sharks hang around by fishing boats it just training them . these sharks are getting BAD

Thanks for the video Love the channel but just a FYI if the boat almost run over your line you were fishing in the channel and he should be and has every right to be in the channel. Not everyone knows the waters there and the safest place for a boater is in the channel.
