I got a tracker tundra wt 18 its very similar . I love the vinyl floor and the bottom storage will sweat bad and my rodlocker wont fit over a 7ft rod lol But man it rides good and cuts threw the water great and tons of room I want one of them enclosers for mine Beatiful boat Love the black on it

Great video, thank you. Be sure to enjoy every moment of your son growing up it goes by quickly. My boy is now 30 and has just ordered a vt-16 wt with a 60 hr Mercury. We have been struggling over whether a 60 will be enough horsepower. Id appreciate your opinion on it. He lives in Oregon so he will be fishing smaller lakes and salmon fishing the coastal rivers.

Steve Dierks thanks for watching! I’d say with a 60hp it’d probably run between 20-25 mph, but I may be wrong. It’s quite a bit lighter than the pro guide 165wt I believe. Mine isn’t very fast at all but I sure love the way the deep v boats ride.

You should check out the spitfire 4 blade props. Put a 17p on my 165 wt after running the black max through some rocks. Increased both acceleration and top speed with 2 people, gear, and full tank.

Great video. Keep them coming. I just bought the 175 combo and this is exactly how I want mine set up. I have had it on the water 4 times. I’m still waiting on my monster rod holders. What’s the secret to properly anchoring in a river and eliminating sway?? I can’t get her to sit still.

We Love it. It works perfectly for the catfishing we do. I may be crazy but I’ve found if we let out more anchor line it slows the sway, and make sure the motor is trimmed completely down. If that doesn’t work you can get a small drift sock to hook off the back while anchored and that should definitely fix it!

lol, awesome boat. I just purchased the exact same boat. Only I haven't got it from the dealer yet. Still has to be shipped from tracker. where\how did you hook up your battery charger? also, did you install the Humminbird fish finder? I bought the Helix 7 for my boat, just thinking of some ways to install it. could you do a video on that, and the battery charger? Happy fishing bro.

Gear Jammer it’s a great boat! Tons of room. I actually had the dealership install both two bank battery chargers, and the fish finders. One of the things I’m not good at is wiring that kind of stuff so I let the professionals handle it lol

@@trackercatfishing5851 ahhhh, smart man. I'm not the best with that stuff either. I just like to give it a shot, before I pay someone to do it. Anyway, so how did you aquire the trolling motor? I believe the stock one is not compatible with the Link system, just Ipilot. I can see, i'l probably have to drop 2 grand on a new trolling mtor if I want to use the Link system with the new Humminbird Helix 7. you will have to put up some videos of you out on the water. I love Tennesee, my parents live in Crossville; I go down there almost every fall.

Gear Jammer I just added it (the trolling motor) to the financing when I bought the boat. So it was all included in one price. I believe the stock one is a power drive. I just had them take it off and install the ulterra. It’s an expensive upgrade but 100% worth it. We’re gonna be posting a lot of videos in the near future using the ipilot system to catch some big ones. Hopefully we’ll get enough videos out to grow our name.

Would you mind giving out specifics on which canopy you got? also any issues running 5-10 miles on the water with it up, wanting to make sure it doesn't just hammer you with wind. Also from what I could tell it looked like your bimini was able to be taken off easily which is what i'm looking for. I just picked up a 2017 pro guide 175 WT. 4th trip out someone kicked up a rock and shattered the windshield on the freeway. * cabelas makes a window cover for about a 130$ as a FYI the window is over 700$ to get fixed.

Been trying to study up on these. With the motor lifted out of the water... what is the draft on the hull of the boat? I want to be able to do occasional inshore flats fishing around grass and oyster bars. However, still need to have the space for a family of four... and be able to troll during the Fall/Winter with wind protection for the wife and kids. I live in coastal North Carolina in fresh/brackish/inshore/nearshore fishing paradise. (I HOPE) This area is almost always windy and the waves kick up quite often.

MySuburbanHomestead I recently traded in my 2017 Tracker 1654 for the 2020 Tracker Pro Guide 175 WT. love the boat, no complaints. I have found that I can get through 14 to 16 inches of water with 4 people on the boat. Motor trimmed up just enough to keep us moving slow.

k9mick121 I haven’t had it iout in freezing temps yet so idk about the freezing. It doesn’t get that slippery when wet though. I went ahead and bought a 3x5 rubber mat to put in the bottom just in case though.

Do you have problems keeping your boat stable in wind? I mean when anchoring and fishing. I use one anchor off front and another off back. And I still can’t keep it real steady if there’s any kind of wind.
