They are great fun. ……But absolute money pits. We had ours on Isle of Wight and we spent a fortune on ours I had a regal 2860 but wished I’d kept my 19ft little sports cruiser with outboard that I used fill with cans £400 to fill that regal and drank fuel. Now I just jetski It’s cheaper ! And you can go in a lot further

Hi how much does it cost for a family to go to a theme park for a day ? and summer holidays away ? No better way than to have a boat if one likes the sea and lives near by , saying that through all my years on that river , people have come down for a beach hut on the spit and have brought a boat as it was cheaper , people who travel 200 plus miles round trip have boats on that river and one family who lived 25 miles the other side of ABERDEEN , WOULD CATCH A PLANE to London and hire a car to get here ? and did that for a good few years . As Aquaholic said if your floating your boating , if the wife can not tie a knot , she sure try a lot of some thing , and get a sun tan ,Yarmouth for a crab sandwich and she feels like she has been on a cruise should the wind gets up . HAPPY DAYS and thanks for your thoughts . Bugger might have to get another one ,trying to dry out for a year and get off the wagon , but your not helping , but will not unsubscribe , just yet going to get some ready salted crisps to get a fix .Enjoy your family summer boating .
