"Laundromat" is an American term (and probably other places) for a laundrette. Both of you understand the need to have good, clean sound and to look into the lens, not the monitor. I do not know if you watch other videos, but I spend a lot of time lusting over your lives on the canals. Professional presentations and skillful editing make yours so much more enjoyable than many others, so thank you SO much for doing so!

We reduced washing machine usage in our house because it costs huge amounts now due to energy hike so rocking up at friends houses could now test friendships unless they’re middle class. Wealthy millionaires! 😂

Had a sink top wasjing machine once and was not impressed with it + you still needs somewhere to store it! Do consider a full size machine they don't use much water or power on a cool wash and bonus you can store your dirty clothes in it! "Foxes Afloat" had one on Silver Fox but can't find the episode where they talk about it. Enjoying the build - thanks for the vlogs. PS Don't come knocking when the canal boats rocking!

Haha 😂 thank you!! We're going to go for a green - can't wait for the day she's no longer a grey shell but juggling finances! Costs way more than we ever thought for a paint job!

I think you are in the wrong country to be worrying about rain 😂. We're very well known here in Britain for our amount of rainfall 😂. I imagine it is hard though when everything keeps getting muddy xx

Haha tell me about it. I think it's by the time we get to March I'm blindly optimistic about Spring arriving. To be fair, without the rain we wouldn't have much of a canal 😂

Not sure if it would be a good option with the amount of power they use up! I do know a few boats that are opting for them... It would kill our batteries though I think!

I have a small brand new (used twice) twin tub washing machine if you want it. I'm in-between Hawkesbury, Coventry and Braunston or anybody reading the comments that can make use of it. Great vlog x

@@thistinylife It's ok, but in the end I found it easier to take a big load to the launderette, as I have a car. It certainly doesn't hold as much as a normal washing machine but it is really useful.

put the rubbish into a bag instead of out of the window, you only got to pick it up again ,a washing machine operated by a bicycle, l like to see you do a fast spin lol, at the rate you are going you finish the boat in retirement lol

We usually have boxes to pop rubbish in but currently can't find anything 😂 we'll get it done when we get it done. The build has to fit around work, making these videos and general life haha

Hey Anne! We used to live in Exeter and got Tilly from just outside of Plymouth. Love the North Devon coastline though! We'll move back that way one day ☺️
