They are good, but high seas and strong winds are tricky at speed. BUT, I REALLY LOOK FW to seeing her wheel a Dauntles 16!! They are much better in rough seas than the Outrage up to 20’. Should be a blast for them.

I learned on a BW 17' Montauk. Would go breaker jumping on Townsend Inlet NJ. They are one tough boat. It went from my brother, to me, to our kids, to the grandkids. Only with a few new engines over the years.

Yeah, that was one hell of a sideways launch for sure.. Definitely gotta have your wits about you when something like that happens.. They leaned into it and stayed vertical and landed the launch.. But you could definitely see it took a toll on their full send for a few minutes.. Lol.. Would've definitely had my heart pumping for damn sure..😂😂 Just glad they're okay..

Watching these girls for some time, I don't think they were rattled. I think they were just taking time to discuss something. You can see soon after they were back on the throttle and sending it again. These girls are fearless and both are excellent captains.

I had one of those 13 footers for years I and was so impressed with it I bought a Montauk 17. Had both for a while and still have the 1983 Montauk👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸. Neither of my of my boats have ever been airborne😂

It's a fine line between adventure and recklessness. These young ladies are definitely fun to watch as they battle the waves, but they do seem to always be on the verge of losing it. Looked to me like the #BlueTopLegend took on a lot of water to me. Took a lot to pump it out. That is why they picked up speed later. Water is 8.5 pounds per gallon. If they took on 35 to 50 gallons that would be something like 450 pounds added to their boat. That would slow the boat down considerably. lol so if you’re wondering what happened there, water LOL a lot of water.

@@filster1934 On the BluTop Legend girls channel, there is at least one video taken by the girls, that shows a bilge pump switch mounted near the throttle and it's labeled "Bilge" in black letters. Despite being so seaworthy, these girls had a bilge pump mounted on the whaler just for the amount of ocean they knew they'd collect. Somewhere else, I read about them mounting it, but when I saw it, I knew they were pretty smart. I would not be surprised if Dad mounted it for them, he does the work on it.

On the girls page they stated that the boat did have a bilge pump. Maybe next time you start acting like you know everything, realize you know very little. blue top had at least 3 things against it looked like it hit the wave at a angle , the large top caught some air at angle and the prop was still enough in the water to keep pushing them up faster than she could back off got lucky learn and carry on a good day is when everybody makes it back safely kill switch/lanyard and helmets would be a plus

The old saying is that the lord watches over children, drunks and fools. I did a lot of reckless things when I was young and lived to talk about them decades later. I had some close calls, made plenty of mistakes and even have a few regrets. Were the girls fortunate? Yep sure were. Are they reckless? No more than most teenagers and a lot less than some. They've pushed that boat to it's absolute limit and honestly it's time for them to move up to something bigger and safer. Everybody is wanting to gripe at them on this video but I say props to them. They are wearing their life jackets, they have their kill switch and when they had a close call they didn't keep pressing their luck. They realized it was time to call it a day and they came back in. That's smarter than most people their age.

Only way to know your real potential is to test your limits. Thankfully BTL learned theirs without getting hurt and I have no doubt they will be back dominating Boca soon. Even when Boca gave it her best the BTL still stayed on their feet and didn't stuff the bow, true legends.

13’ Boston Whaler . 50 hp Yamaha. Twin sisters who can handle it very well no matter which one is driving. The blonde is Ariana I believe and the darker hair sister I believe is Olivia.

@@melcrissey-p8i I concur. I chatted with one of the gals and she said it was a 13' Whaler Super Sport with a Yammy 50. They had to one by one change out every screw to a through bolt as things would come lose. Like all kids they grew up and went off to other things. They had a sponsored channel for a short while but I don't think it was viable. They are a great bit of entertainment in the boat on rough water but they're not comfortable in front of the camera speaking. They pretty much built the Wavy Boats channel.

I believe that the darker haired sister, Olivia I think, is a real estate agent still in South Florida. I hope someone can find out if I am right or wrong about her. They have a used BW Dauntless with a 115hp Yamaha. They don’t have a blue Bimini on it yet and aren’t seen running the Boca Raton and Haulover inlets as much as before. Those girls certainly know what “balls to the wall” and “pedal to the metal” mean.
