Recipe for: Manastirski beans
NECESSARY PRODUCTS:
All the vegetables in the recipe are finely chopped.
White beans - 500 g (soaked in water the night before).
Onion - 3 heads.
Carrots - 3 pcs.
Celery- 1 head (small).
Green peppers - 2 pcs.
Red peppers - 2 pcs.
Canned tomatoes - 200 g.
Jojen- 1 connection.
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Oil
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Put the beans in a saucepan and add cold water. Wait for it to boil and change the first water. Add a little salt and oil, and let it cook on a moderate temperature for about 30 minutes.
30 minutes later, add all the vegetables (chopped finely) to the pot and stir. Put the lid on the pot and let it cook for another 60 minutes at a moderate temperature.
60 minutes later, season the beans with salt, black pepper, paprika and finely chopped fresh chives. If you wish, you can also add devesil. Let the beans cook with the spices for another 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle the finished beans with finely chopped chives or parsley.
